Our Team.

OUR TEAM

Our team consists of Counsellors in Training and Qualified Counsellors who provide clients with a safe and confidential place for them to explore their thoughts, and feelings which may be causing distress or difficulty.​  We offer a non-judgemental space for all clients.
All of our teamwork in accordance with the British Association of Counselling  Ethical Framework; BACP’s Ethical Framework.​

Our counsellors use a variety of counselling approaches to suit the individual needs of the client (Integrative Counselling, Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)and more).​

Should you specifically want to work with a Qualified Counsellor please advise this at the initial contact. All of our team are trained to a high level of competency to practice with TALENS HEALTH SUPPORT SERVICES.

My name is Tomas Alenskas, and I'm a founder of Talens Health Support Service

.I have extensive experience in Health sector management and general psychological support. 

I'm currently offering life coaching and psychological consultations for the clients. I use coaching and CBT techniques to bring clarity, motivation, belief and accountability to live the happiest, healthiest and most prosperous life.

Theresa Visser

Registered Psychotherapist

Theresa Visser is a BACP registered Psychotherapist, with significant experience working in the NHS in a Dynamic Psychotherapy setting. She lives in Leicester city where she undertook her training up to Master’s level. Theresa has experience in offering Counselling and Psychotherapy in a range of settings, including working remotely both in telephone and video sessions. Theresa worked for many years managing a forensic pathology unit, focussing on research using CT scanning, this involved work with bereft families, often through tragic circumstances.

Registered Counsellor

My name is Vanessa and I am BACP registered Counsellor offering support that is underpinned by compassionate Person-Centred and Humanistic Therapy, which I have developed over several years. This approach helps people to form an understanding and gain a sense of knowing from their personal experiences. Empowerment and Autonomy for my clients are so important so that they can grow and leave the counselling sessions with new positivity and sometimes a newfound strength to move to a different stage in their lives.

My name is Christine Smith and I am a registered member of BACP. As an experienced counsellor, I hope to offer a warm, supportive and confidential environment. I use an integrative approach, which allows me to use the most effective and personal approach. 

I have a wide range of life experiences which includes working with emergency services, children’s organisations and secondary education and couples.
